North Arm of Lake Manapouri, Fijordland, South Island, New Zealand.
I think it's nicely moody.
Sorry the CCD isn't very fast, it's just an old consumer grade camera.
"Lake Manapouri is the deepest of the southern glacial lakes with a depth of 1,468 ft; the lake is 600 ft above sea level which means that the bed is 870 ft below sea level. The ancient name for the lake was Moturau, “Hundred Islands”. The present name is a variation of Manawapouri, which is usually translated as “Lake of the Sorrowing Heart”."

You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
